Know your team's time before you reach out

Who is around, and what time it is for them

Click the menu bar icon, or press ⌃⌥⌘H. Your friends are listed by group with their local time, the offset from yours, the part of their day (morning, midday, evening or night) and whether they are online or when they were last active. A moon marks someone outside their working hours.

• Groups fold and reorder; sort friends by name, local time or recent activity
• A person's page shows their clock in words and your history together
• HereNow lives in the menu bar and has no Dock icon

Say hi without starting a conversation

Poke a friend or send an emoji; they answer with a poke or an emoji of their own. You see when it was delivered and seen, and the history keeps everything sent and received, by day, with what you have not read yet.

Clocks and faces on your desktop

Small, medium and large widgets for the desktop or Notification Center show your friends' clocks (digits or a dial) and the part of their day, with their faces as stickers and how many interactions you have not read. Tap a face to poke them.

A group per team, joined with a link

Create a group and share its invite link; whoever opens it joins and shows up in everyone's panel with their time zone. Each Mac reports its own zone and follows it when you travel: nothing is guessed from IP addresses.

Quiet when you need it, nothing lost

Turn on offline mode and you show as offline everywhere: no alerts and no automatic answers. Interactions are still kept, and the menu bar counts the ones you have not read.

A face your friends recognise

Your name, email and a picture: a photo from the camera, an image, an emoji on a colour or your initials. A photo can become a sticker, cut out with a white outline. Add your city and working hours.
